DAVE POSESS, Director of Operations and Online Content Development, is a career "all media" content writer with more than 20 years of experience in an A to Z list of industries. His particular specialty is in the marketing, discussion, display and promotion of news products and services for both online and offline use. This includes everything from ads to websites and all in between. He is also a branding maven, with more than 300 such campaigns under his belt, and his naming and corporate identity work is second to none. To date, he has completed more than 270 websites, and is sought after for his ability to match content with the audience and media type being applied. Dave has held full-time positions in publishing, advertising and marketing (Dentsu/DCA Advertising, Canon USA and Information Builders), and several international entities (Council on International Education Exchange and the United Nations New Media department).
Having had his fill of the 9 to 5, suit and tie club, Dave chose to break out on his own, and has been successfully freelancing as an on-call, all media content writer for the last ten years. Dave holds a very special place in his work agenda for start-ups and many non-profit entities, and has a special interest in environmental and wildlife-related organizations. He has worked extensively with the National Geographic Society, Greenpeace, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Audubon Society, to name just a few. Dave also does pro bono work for many organizations including UNICEF, the ASPCA, and the Animal News Network. Finally, as an obsessive sport fisherman, Dave also lends his talents to several fishing magazines and organizations, including the IGFA, Saltwater Sportsman (freelance) and Conservationist magazine (pro bono).
